The Krill Family

When I was a kid I had a little red table in my bedroom and I used to LOVE playing tea with all my animals at the table. We went to Ikea this weekend and Amalea got attached to a table and tea set.  She had so much fun playing with it that we had to get her one.  Now, she has her own little red table and tea set.  Hours of fun will follow.

Things got a little crazy at the dinner table, but Daddy said it was ok because it’s Spring Break!

We recently found out that Amalea is at a good age to have her first dental appointment.  Luckily, we also got connected with a childrens dentist and were given a free appointment for our first time (Jim worked on their website).  I don’t think it is something Ami will love, but we’ll give it a try.  Here is a picture of her showing off all her teeth during bath time tonight.

Amalea has had a pretty high temperature for the last few days.  Robin was out of town today, so I got to spend the day with my little sicko.  We started out by going to Urgent Care to make sure she didn’t need any medications.  After being assured it was just the flu, and other than a high temperature and one sad toddler, everything was fine, Amalea and I returned home to spend the day watching TV, trying to eat whenever she was willing, wiping a constantly running nose, sleeping, and cuddling.

Here’s a picture I snapped with my phone after getting back into the car after the doctor.  As you can see… there were moments of tantrums – but also moments of silliness.  Besides this silly smile, Amalea kept up her impressive dance moves throughout the day.
