The Krill Family

Amalea had a blast playing with Bella, Robin’s parents dog.  The two of them were great together, chasing each other around, sharing toys, and seriously bonding.

We spent an afternoon at the park and Amalea was introduced to her namesake, Robin’s grandmother.  My grandmother’s first name was Lorene which is where Lorayne (Amalea’s middle name) comes from.

We got to spend some time with Jim’s oldest brother and his family, including his three boys.  Amalea was a bit small to play the big boy games, but she still had fun being with them.

She also got to play with two of our favorite people, Kyeler and Cory Milligan.  Amalea and Cory were attached and could not get enough of each other – it was so great to see them together again now that she is old enough to play more.

And of course Amalea had a total blast with her Oma and Pop.  My mom makes Amalea laugh harder than anyone I know – it is so much fun to observe.

We made it home after a very busy week in California.  I love this picture because Amaela just looks so content and of course she has so much to smile about.

We took a ton of pictures on our trip to California, but I haven’t uploaded them yet so for now here are a few pictures that I took with my phone.  Amalea played in a lot of dirt (since she could be outside and the ground wasn’t covered in snow) and slept in the car a lot (since we spent a lot of time in the car).
