Well, we have finally decided what preschool Amalea will be attending this Fall.  It’s a little crazy for me to imagine her going to school two days a week, but I am excited to see how she does with it.  Amalea will be going to a neighborhood preschool that is just opening their doors this year.  You can check out the school here.

I have been looking back through old photos lately and am just so amazed at how much Amalea has grown and changed over her (almost) three years of life.  She is such a joyful child who LOVES people.  She is compassionate and loves to play and have a good time.  As we prepare for this next step in the “growing up” process I wanted to share some photos of Amalea through the years:

Maya is now 9 months old and crawling like a lady on a mission. She pulls herself up on everything and I know she can’t wait to walk and be able to keep up with Amalea. Here are a few recent pictures of my chubby little girl.

Now that Maya is on the move Amalea has to learn to play with her…it’s a work in progress.  Really though, these two do love each other so much already and we’re hoping that continues.

It appears we are updating about once a month now…well, I guess that is what happens when the craziness of two kids goes into full force. Life is so good and both the girls are growing and changing. Maya is sitting up and now working on crawling. Amalea is still full of energy and sweet as can be. Robin has gone back to work part time (3 hours 4 days a week) and is also working from home. Jim continues to work hard and is enjoying the extra special time he gets with his girls while Robin is at work.

Maya is just over 14 pounds and a very happy little girl.  She definitely likes to be entertained and held and played with and it’s hard to put her down for a long length of time.  She is pretty attached to her mommy and likes to keep her in eye sight most of the time.  She has started teething and definitely is not enjoying it.  She brings us all so much joy and luckily has an incredible older sister who loves her so much (as do her mom and dad).
